With over 25 years in the industry, including 16 years as a technician, I've worked nationwide responding to natural disasters. I spent 8 years as a regional manager in NSW for a prominent restoration company
handling, estimating, quoting claims, and overseeing projects. I hold IICRC certifications in Fire Restoration, Water Restoration, and Mould Remediation, and I have extensive experience in project management for large commercial properties. Additionally, I am accredited in Test and Tag procedures, hold licenses for operating Boom Lifts, Scissor Lifts, and Forklifts, and specialise in Odour Control.
Linda brings a wealth of experience to the table, with more than 25 years of industry certification under her belt. Her expertise spans a wide range of restoration tasks, including fire restoration at both journeyman and
master levels, water restoration, odour control, trauma scene cleanup, mould remediation, and upholstery and fabric cleaning. She has proven her adaptability by travelling nationwide to support CAT events and large-scale commercial projects, demonstrating her versatility in handling diverse restoration tasks.
I'm Dave McAteer, a Senior Restoration Technician covering Sydney, Wollongong, and the Hunter region for Restoration Services. After graduating from Westfield's Sports High School, I initially pursued a career in the heavy
vehicle industry, gaining expertise in vehicle body building, spray painting, detailing, and national trucking. Seeking a change, I transitioned into Flood and Fire Restoration over 15 years ago, a field that continues to captivate me today.
During my tenure, I’ve contributed to numerous residential and commercial restoration projects across various scales, ranging from offices and factories to granny flats and mansions. Notable projects include Bunnings, CFMEU, and the Newcastle Government Building. I hold certifications in IICRC for Fire and Water Restoration, qualifications in test and tag, and valid credentials such as a white card, WWCC, and Police check.
Scott's journey in the restoration and flooring sector spans more than two decades, a testament to his deep-rooted experience and understanding of the industry. His expertise is not limited to floor covering installation
and specialised restoration techniques, as he has also excelled in geoscience field technology and has experience as a supervisor for bush registration. Scott’s extensive experience in domestic CAT events and large loss projects further underscores his proficiency in the industry.
Meet Troy Peck, our newest team member. Troy brings extensive expertise in restoration services, beginning his career 14 years ago as a part-time worker and quickly advancing to a full-time restoration
technician. His proficiency spans various areas such as Water Damage Restoration, Applied Microbial Remediation, Fire and Smoke Remediation, Odour Control, Clandestine Lab Decontamination, and Trauma and Crime Scene Cleaning.
Troy has managed projects across residential, commercial, and large-scale loss scenarios, serving roles as a technician, project manager, and state manager. His career has included significant international and domestic travel for large commercial projects, major loss incidents, and CAT events. We are delighted to welcome Troy as the National Business Development Manager at SWHR.
